Watching The Tour Live in Sheffield

Whilst some of you might feel that road riding has no place on here, its hard to escape the fact that something pretty exciting is happening in the tour at the moment. As well as for making for some exciting viewing, it also helps raise the profile of cycling, which is a good thing for all.

If you’re the sociable type who likes to enjoy their sport with others; there are a couple of options for you to enjoy the last couple of stages

The Bike Tree will be screening both day on their big screen in the shop and are happy for people to come along and watch there. If you want to bring a drink etc it might be worth checking first; but should be fine as long as you bring them one

Nonna’s will also be screening the time trial at the very least and are putting on a special offer for all those who want to come along. For a fiver you get a beer and a bowl of pasta to add to your viewing pleasure. there’s even a ride first too. More info here www.lasquadra.co.uk

AGM

After rain effected play on the social ride the other day. we decided it was better to leave the AGM till another day to do it.

So it will now be this coming Monday the 16th of July at 2030. We will be meeting at the Norfolk Arms in Ringinglow. Which means you can get a bit of a ride in first on what is looking like a sunny evening and then come and chat to us, tell us what you think and what you would like us to do as well as voting in a President, Treasurer and Secretary for the coming year.
