Bolehills
Bolehills BMX Track has been around since 1983 and is run under Sheffield Dirt Society BMX Club with help from Ride Sheffield volunteers and Bike Track.
In 2015 the track got a full resurface to bring it back to new condition. Since then Sheffield Dirt Society has been at the helm to raise money for improvements and keep the track in tip top condition.
The track hosts a yearly event – Helltrack, to raise money for new surface and provide a day for all to enjoy the track with some tunes blaring and competitions. This is usually held over the summer.
Ride Sheffield collaborates on Dig Days regularly, and works closely with the running of the track.
Trails
The track consists of 4 straights, with a pumptrack in the centre. All straights have varying grades of difficulty, with the ‘Back Straight’ hosting 4 progressive jumps.
Suitable for all bikes, but hardtails or BMX is preferred.
Runs good in most weathers – please avoid after a particularly wet few days!

The track is located in Bolehill Park, Crookes.

Crookes has a large variety of amenities, including a chip shop and a beres as well as some local supermarkets.
