Blacka Moor Trail day – Devil’s Elbow
Devil’s Elbow on Blackamoor is an incredibly popular trail that we’ve been looking after for ten years. The torrential rain in November did some serious damage so we need to knuckle down and get it back into prime condition. It’s a big day’s work and we’ll need a big team to do it!
We’ll be using both trad barrows and power barrows to get the material where we need it and there’ll be some major drainage work carried out as well. We’ll provide some tools but bring your favourite spade if you like. As usual, thanks to BikeTrack, food will be provided.
If you can help out all day, that’s great, but if you’re planning on riding, it’d be great if you can give an hour of your time. We’ll meet at the end of Shorts Lane by the Old Stables at 0930 or you can join us on the trail at any time.
