GO Outdoors Grand Opening of ‘Cooking on Gas’ trail at Lady Canning’s
The trails in Lady Cannings exist because of a lot of hardwork by numerous people, Sheffield City Council’s massive support and your contributions which made it possible. However, nothing would have happened without Go Outdoors having the confidence and vision to get behind the project by funding the last part of the Blue Steel Trail and all of Cooking on Gas. To celebrate that success, they will be holding a grand opening on the trail this weekend. Ride Sheffield will be there to chat about this and other projects, but this is Go Outdoors’ big celebration of all things mountain biking as you can read below…..
GO Outdoors opens NEW ‘Cooking on Gas’ trail at Lady Canning’s on Saturday 6th May at 10am!
GO Outdoors will officially open the NEW ‘Cooking on Gas’ trail this Saturday at 10am. The trail sits alongside the existing Blue Steel trail, both of which are situated within the Lady Canning’s Plantation, about a 10 minute drive west of Sheffield city centre.
The GO team will be there to keep you fed and watered with FREE food & drinks until 4pm, as well as the opportunity to sign up for a FREE Discount Card. Calibre bikes will be in attendance offering you FREE bike checks as well as showcasing its new range of mountain bikes. The weather looks on our side so come and visit us with friends and family for a great day out!
The trail head is just up the road from the Norfolk Arms pub. The nearest car park can be found just off Sheephill Road, before the village of Ringinglow, at S11 7TU. Parking is very limited so make sure you arrive early. Please note that the pub car park is for patrons only.
